Flowerbaal is astunningly beautiful Green Design lampshade which we make in white only, diameters 400mm ( in stock)/ 500mm  order only/ 800mm order only). The South African artist and designer Heath Nash upcycles plastic waste to make Flowerball lamps. Flowerball is decorated with hundreds of recycled plastic flowers, all made by hand. Material is recycled plastic bottles, cut into flowers and butterflies. Nash employes artisans making the collection at his Studio in Cape Town. Heath Nash sees all shapes and sizes of lampshades in the very same empty plastic canister. There is no rubbish left of the rubbish used. That is how his design goes.

Heath Nash's collection "Other People's Rubbish" has received several awards, 2nd price at Ecodesign competition in Helsinki, exhibitions in Milan, London 100% design, New York, Tokyo. Please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

MUM's

Mum's was born in South Africa 2006, when Finnish Outi, an artist, and mum herself, collaborated with 15 African women. They made sculptures for an exhibition in Finland, all weaved by hand, designed by Outi, empowering women who worked from home. All women were mothers, so the project was named MUM's.

Later on, it turned to be a name for a sustainable brand "Mum's Good with Goods". During the years a tiny art project has slightly developed into a sustainable design company, combining designers with sustainable production. Mum's has got production in four developing countries India, South Africa, Cambodia, and Bolivia. Everything is handmade as far as possible, people work from home, save travel costs to work. Materials are local either natural or recycled, and each Mum's product is signed by the artisan who made it.
