Right of cancellation and return conditions
As a rule, our products are manufactured only to order, all made-to-order, in which case the right to cancel the sales contract according to the Consumer Protection Act (38/1978) is not valid.
The right of cancellation only applies to products delivered directly from Finland, in their original packaging, unused and undamaged, salable products. In that case, you have the right under the Consumer Protection Act to cancel the sales contract no later than 14 days after receiving the product.
After making the cancellation notice, you must return the product you received without delay, no later than 14 days after making the cancellation notice. When returning the product, you are responsible for the costs incurred by the return.
Once we have received and accepted your return, we will return the payment you made for the product to the bank account you indicated in the first place. We will not refund the costs you incur for returning the product. Please also note that when you return the product, you are responsible for the product until we have received it.
Problems in transport / incorrect, wrong or damaged product
Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made no later than 14 days after receiving the product. If the package is damaged in the post, a complaint must be made to the post immediately.
The faulty product must be returned to MUM's. MUM's generally compensates for the defect by delivering a defect-free product instead. If this is not possible, the alternatives are a price reduction or, in the case of stock products, cancellation of the sale and a refund of the payment you made for the product.
MUM's Good with goods Oy is not responsible for the delay in the delivery of the product or the harm caused by the delay due to a force majeure (Force Majeure, e.g. flood, landslide, etc.). If such a situation occurs, MUM's will notify the customer at blog and social media, at Mum’s newsletter both when the situation begins and when it ends. If the delivery time is excessively extended, we will negotiate with the customer on a suitable way to compensate for the delay. In a difficult world situation, we hope that our customers understand that a normal delivery time is not even possible. Please consider your order after reading these rules.
Please do not order from us, if you are not prepared to wait.
Finnish law applies to these order and delivery conditions. If disagreements cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the disagreement will be resolved in the District Court of Varsinais-Suomi in Finland. The consumer customer has the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board.
