Flaming hearts, dripping candles, bords, roses, stars, goblets, faces. Spanish artist Ricardo Cavolo’s paintings are stunning, filled with symbolisim. Ricardo Cavolo (1982) is one of the most international Spanish illustrators. He has exhibited in galleries around the world. But his turning point came when Cirque Du Soleil chose him to work on one of their artistic projects in Spain in 2010.

He has designed covers and sleeves, and published several books as well.

In 2012 he received the award for best cover from the magazine Yorokobu. He has also worked on publicity campaigns for brands such as Nike, Converse, Dockers, Levi's..., as well as working with Futbol Club Barcelona and has created murals for Urban Outfitters, Cirque du Soleil and Montreal Airport.  And, a last, He has designed a work beuatiful called LOVE for Mum's. Based on the words Oti gave him. Mum's artisans turn Ricardo's beautiful work to textile. Ethical handmade production meets Ricardo's illustrations in a carpet, wallrug and cushions.

Material is all ecological local wool of highest quality. Pile height is cut low so this rug does not create "dust", even this still is a soft and tightly hand knotted rug. Carpet is made to order and custom sizes are welcomed. No frindges. Kindly also note each rug is always unique because of the nature of handcraft. MUM's

Mum's was born in South Africa in 2006, when Finnish Outi, an artist, and mum herself, collaborated with 15 African women. They made sculptures for an exhibition in Finland, all weaved by hand, designed by Outi, empowering women who worked from home. All women were mothers, so the project was named MUM's.

Later, it became the name for a sustainable brand "Mum's Good with Goods". Over the years a tiny art project has slightly developed into a sustainable design company, combining designers with sustainable production. Mum's has got production in four developing countries India, South Africa, Cambodia, and Bolivia. Everything is handmade as far as possible, people work from home, and save travel costs to operate. Materials are local either natural or recycled, and each Mum's product is signed by the artisan who made it.
