Brown bear is a calm and gentle rug inspired by the quiet strength of the Arctic. Its soft shape and light tones bring warmth, playfulness, and a sense of safety into the space. Handmade using traditional techniques, each rug is unique and designed to be loved by both children and adults.

Teresa Moorhouse

Teresa Moorhouse is a Helsinki-based designer whose work is known for its warmth, playfulness, and strong visual identity. She draws inspiration from everyday life, nature, and simple forms, creating designs that feel both timeless and approachable. In her work, handcrafted quality and thoughtful details are always at the centre, resulting in pieces that bring character and joy into the home.

Materials & Care

Handmade: 80 % wool + 20 % cotton. Wool from local sheep and cotton from nearby fields. You can read a little more about our materials and sourcing here: Behind the Pieces.

Technique: Hand-knotted.

Feel: Rich. Dense. Timeless.

Care:

Vacuum regularly.
Wipe stains immediately with a wet wipe.
You may wash your rug but in cold or very mild temperatures.
Take outside to fresh air every now and then. Wool loves it!

Shipping

We ship from Finland. Delivery time is usually 2–6 business days in Finland and 4–10 business days within Europe. Rugs and larger items can take a little longer.

Orders containing made-to-order or pre-order items will be shipped once all products are available.

Choose delivery area

Customs and import taxes outside the EU may apply and are paid by the customer.

Returns

You can return unused items within 14 days of delivery. Products must be in original condition. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit. If something arrives broken, message us and we’ll make it right.
