If the rug is not mentioned to be in stock, each Mum's rug is made uniquely for you and made to measure.
Please allow around 12–16 weeks for production and delivery.

The Utopia rug is designed by Saana and Olli in Finland. The rug is hand-knotted in India. The wool comes from local sheep that graze freely. The black pattern in the rug is made of vegetable-dyed wool and the white is made of natural wool. Each rug is unique and is available in three sizes: 100 x 140cm / 90 x 130 cm / 70 x 100cm

About the Designer

Saana & Olli

Saana & Olli is a design studio based in Turku, Finland, founded by Saana Sipilä and Olli Sallinen. Their work is guided by sustainable choices and a deep respect for thoughtful production. Whenever possible, they keep manufacturing close to home, supporting Finnish textile craftsmanship and local professionals.

Materials & Care

Handmade: 80 % wool + 20 % cotton. Wool from local sheep and cotton from nearby fields. You can read a little more about our materials and sourcing here: Behind the Pieces.

Technique: Handwoven flatweave.

Feel: Light. Easy. Breathable.

Care:

Vacuum regularly.
Wipe stains immediately with a wet wipe.
You may wash your rug but in cold or very mild temperatures.
Take outside to fresh air every now and then. Wool loves it!

Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We ship from Finland. Delivery time is usually 2–6 business days in Finland and 4–10 business days within Europe. Rugs and larger items can take a little longer.

Orders containing made-to-order or pre-order items will be shipped once all products are available.

Choose delivery area

Customs and import taxes outside the EU may apply and are paid by the customer.

Returns

You can return unused items within 14 days of delivery. Products must be in original condition. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit. If something arrives broken, message us and we’ll make it right.
