Rattan is one of the most sustainable materials available for furniture manufacturing. According to Indian people, rattan is the best friend with the rainforest. Rattan grows like lianas around the trees, and it helps preserving the rainforest as there is no rattan production without the trees.

Ecofriendly Rattan is a naturally renewable palm that grows in forests across Africa and Asia. It is incredible as rattan grows over two ( 2 ) centimetres per day. This means it grows up to six ( 6 ) metres every year. Rattan can be fully grown and harvested within two years, compared to some hardwoods which take up to 20-30 years. This makes rattan in a completely sustainable product that is environmentally friendly.
